  • You’ll be building relationships with business owners and sales and marketing leaders who typically do not have experience working with a growth agency – and don’t know what to expect. Winners are able to effectively communicate what 41Orange does, from a business & personal win perspective – and why the prospect should partner with US.
  • Your biggest barrier to success will be educating your prospects, getting them off even keel mode, helping them understand the “41Orange way” and why partnering with us is the best decision for them and their company.

What It Takes For You To WIN

  • We eat our own dog food. You will enjoy & participate in a modern, data-driven lead generation and sales approach, and will employ an effective and state-of-the-art sales methodology. Using CRM tools and working in an open and challenging team setting will enable you to consistently meet and exceed the set targets.
  • Our BDRs research prospective customers, create outreach strategies, and identify sales opportunities. You will conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers, use your business acumen to identify how 41 Orange could help their business grow and successfully position the 41 Orange value proposition.
  • You will be expected to expertly identify market segments to prospect, and then prioritize prospects based upon their desire to grow, their ability and willingness to invest into growth, and their readiness to move forward.

What You’ll be Doing on a Day-to-Day Basis

  • Conduct high volume prospecting (60-100 activities per day) to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the CEO to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
  • Schedule 4-6 marketing assessments per week to further assess a prospect’s business and how we can help them grow
  • Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned

What You Need to Qualify for the Position

  • Track record of high achievement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous successful sales experience OR a strong desire to begin a sales career
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • Naturally curious and passionate
  • The technical aptitude to master our sales tools
  • A keenly developed competitive nature
  • You don’t make excuses or blame your mistakes on others, but rather, will focus objectively on the process, and the message

  • The ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection on a daily basis
  • Some marketing experience is a plus

How You’ll be Compensated

We’re looking for a business development rep (BDR) that is ready to show the world what they can do, and conquer an opportunity. Base salary is variable and mostly based on experience; however, this position offers an “on target earnings” (OTE) of between $75,000 to $135,000 with no income cap.
