Our agency was started in the garage of our founders, Sam and Gregg Anderson, in sunny San Diego to work with growth-oriented clients from across the country. Since 2010, our team has grown exponentially to be comprised of strategists, writers, developers and creatives that thrive on shared success with our clients.

As a successful entrepreneur for more than 30 years, Mitch has a broad background in banking, portfolio acquisition, management, servicing centers, real estate and healthcare financial services. Mitch is a director on the boards of 41 Orange, ClearBalance, ClearPath ADM, MDI West, Tourmaline Labs and Zesty.io and is a board advisor at Doctible. In addition, he serves on two non-profit boards: The Lavin Entrepreneurship Center at San Diego State University (SDSU) and The Corky McMillan Center for Real Estate at SDSU. Mitch is a San Diego native and studied finance at SDSU.

Gregg is a Veteran of the Armed Forces and a graduate of San Diego State University, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Management & Entrepreneurship. Gregg’s experience in the marketing industry ranges from auditing and planning marketing strategies for the small business next door, to crafting strategies for multimillion dollar ventures. He also has experience in the startup, angel, and venture capital environment. Gregg is a regular speaker and volunteer at The Zahn Innovation Center, SDSU’s startup incubator.

Samantha is the COO and co-founder of 41 Orange, inc, a marketing agency. She is also currently a member of the Board of Directors for San Diego Civic Youth Ballet, Balboa Park’s resident classical ballet school since 1945. Hailing from the agency world, Sam has worked with Fortune 500 tech, financial, and consumer brands, including Intel, Petco and LPL Financial, to shape their online presence and reach their target audiences more effectively through social media and beyond. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, emphasis in public relations from San Diego State University.

Scott is a highly accomplished professional 20+ years with proven success managing sales, marketing and strategic planning responsibilities within corporations. Adept in managing sales initiatives within companies that set record growth in saturated markets. Decisive leader with expertise in penetrating untapped markets, surpassing sales targets and increasing double digit growth, increasing customer retention and identifying growth opportunities. Scott graduated from the University of the Pacific with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Director of Project Management

Jenny is an organized, client enthusiast and scrum certified lead project manager with 14 years of agency experience. She has played an instrumental role in taking multiple companies from small businesses to large companies keeping all processes, tasks, and techniques in order. Her range of experience includes digital marketing, eCommerce, branding, experiential marketing, SEO and trade shows. Jenny has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego.

Shayla Brooks is a content marketing leader with expertise in strategic planning, social media, and multimedia content creation, combined with a strong writing and editing background. Skilled in collaborating with a cross-functional team to drive leads, conversions and sales. Instrumental in establishing best practices, new techniques, and achieving business and financial goals. Shayla has her Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

With a background in B2B marketing, Rebecca specializes in inbound marketing and sales enablement. She has organized and driven successful lead generation strategies for medium-sized business for 5+ years. Rebecca holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and French from Washington State University.

Diana has a strong background in inbound marketing with a key focus in content and email. She considers herself a concept architect with an enthusiasm for marketing strategy. Diana has 4 years experience in building marketing strategies for local and international brands gained in both a small marketing agency environment & at World Trade Center San Diego. Diana holds a BBA in International Business & a BBA in Marketing from the University of San Diego.

Sam began her career as a reporter for her hometown newspaper, eventually moving to the West Coast in the pursuit of eternal sunshine and a new position in the marketing industry. She’s worked at digital agencies for more than 4 years and enjoys helping clients build a robust online presence through customized campaigns. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and Journalism from Boston University.

Jason is a seasoned content creator, editor and strategist, with over twelve years of freelance, agency, and corporate experience. He’s worked as a managing editor, contributing editor and writer for a wide range of online publications, including Anthony Bourdain’s Explore Parts Unknown, and has created content for major brands, including Victory/Polaris Motorcycles, Microsoft’s Xbox, and Chevrolet. On the corporate side, Jason spent five years as a content strategist and social media manager for biotech companies Life Technologies and Intrexon, and eDriving, a leading driver training and informatics company.

Brianna Zantman is an advertising professional who has experience in digital marketing, radio and print-publication media buying, video project management, paid media, social media marketing, public relations, graphic design and photography (Adobe Creative Suite), SEO optimization, campaign and creative strategy. Brianna holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Journalism with a specialization in Advertising and a minor in Art from San Diego State University.
Likes: Dancing at festivals, anything involving cheese, exploring new places
Mikayla has gained experience within the digital marketing industry through involvement with multiple agencies in San Diego and Arizona. She creates and portrays stories of brands through her passion and love for digital marketing. She specializes in social media marketing, graphic designing, digital analytics, brand identity and design, website layout and design, digital marketing, paid search, social media and marketing strategy. Mikayla graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising and a minor in Business Marketing.

Ashley has created elaborate social media campaigns and integrated public relations plans for diverse brands across a variety of industries. She has a strong background in writing, managing and tracking email campaigns, blogs and press releases and has experience in account management, content development and production. Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Media Studies with an emphasis in Media Studies and a minor in Political Science from San Diego State University.

Alex started his marketing career doing in-house email marketing for an insurance agency. Looking to beef up his skill set, he set his sights on agency life. Focusing his efforts on tackling SEO, HTML, persona targeting, and other inbound essentials, Alex has hit the ground running. Alex loves performing music and comedy and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from California State University Fullerton.

Bianca has a strong background in journalism as the former Sports Editor for the Sonoma State STAR, a nationally recognized college newspaper. She also has 5 years of experienced in social media management through the STAR and various professional endeavors. Her passions include painting, music production, graphic design, photography, and videography — skills she’s often able to utilize in her profession. She graduated from Sonoma State University with Honors and a Communications degree in May 2018, and has been with 41 Orange since October of that same year.

Having graduated from San Diego State University, Jordan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in graphic design. His interest in building and constructing websites was developed at a very early age and has been a student of the arts ever since. Having worked with large corporate companies to small businesses, he has learned how to effectively communicate the client’s value to their target audience through user-friendly design.
